Murray, Kentucky. Dec 16, 2010. #3. Peter, I have the Grizzly and like it a lot. The Tormek has advantages, namely Woodcraft offers sharpening seminars that use the Tormek. Both have a slew of jigs to do about anything you need to do. I did spend the extra money, but it all went to the jigs.

Rikon wet sharpener comparatively has more speed. Tormek seems to be slow compared to Rikon wet sharpener, but with greater control. Rikon does the job of sharpening, but not with sheer perfection. The Delta 23-710 sharpening center would probably sharpen tools OK if the parts were made as designed. It may, in fact, be a little better than the Delta because it has a nice tool rest for the large wet stone. It does a decent job, once the stone is dressed. To be honest, I don't use it too much.
