Steelmaking and Rolling Mills Regina, Saskatchewan Operating since 1961, the Regina Steelmaking complex produces carbon steel slabs, discrete plate and coil. Scrap metal is converted to liquid steel in two electric arc furnaces, and then cast into slabs. The slabs are hot rolled, primarily into coiled plate for our pipe facilities.

Currently there are three large flour mills in Saskatchewan: J.M. Smucker (Canada) Inc. in Saskatoon, and the Dawn Food Products mills in Saskatoon and Humboldt.
