Washburn Shops Drill Grinder. I recently acquired a Washburn Shops Drill Grinder. It has a 3 phase GE Motor with a date code of 1945. It is pretty rough looking, but I think it is in good shape mechanically. I'm planning to restore it but I'm looking for some information on the operation of this specific machine.

My grinder is a 4 piece as-well + the vibrating part so 5. it was the 4th piece that the threads were so full of kief i couldn't undo it with my hand, probably because i often have my grinder in the freezer and slammed it on a hard surface and i think that jammed it, this is the first time i've even tried to undo it in a week so yeah..

There are a lot more threads than you need. If you can gently remove the messed up part it will probably work fine. It's recommended to place the top piece on and then turn slowly backwards until you feel it drop. Then you know the threads are just ready to engage. Then turn very gently, never use force on the adjustment ring of a grinder.
