Re: Tips on Tapered End Mills. Same as Ted mentioned, I prefer to setup the tapered bit geometry in the tool database exactly as they really are in "real life". This way I know my toolpath previews will be accurate. I am posting a screenshot from my database showing the settings of a tapered ballnose I use fairly often.
