Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) is a process used by factories to precipitate process related defects from latent to patent for detection by a product verification test. For most processes, the product verification tests are electrical tests but may include other forms of testing which are non-electrical.

اقرأ أكثرAcoustic induced vibration (AIV) is the high frequency acoustic excitation of a piping system as a result of gas flowing through a pressure reducing device such as a relief valve, control valve or orifice plate resulting in high noise levels being generated. These high noise levels are a function of the pressure drop across the pressure ...

اقرأ أكثرAcoustic Induced Vibration. Acoustic Induced Vibration (AIV) is a phenomenon that can lead to vibration-induced fatigue failures in piping systems. Pipeline facility operators, designers, and engineers are faced with identifying and mitigating the risks of AIV to avoid fatigue failures in their facilities.
اقرأ أكثرDesign Analysis and Field Troubleshooting. Flow-induced vibration, or vortex shedding, is due to high flow velocities such as in a piping dead leg of a centrifugal compressor system. This study evaluates vortex shedding and potential vibration across dead leg branches. The study can also include FIV excitation of small-bore piping and ...
اقرأ أكثرA-Z Guide to Screening Ore, Rock & Aggregate. A simple definition of a "screen" is a machine with surface (s) used to classify materials by size. Screening is defined as "The mechanical process which accomplishes a division of particles on the basis of size and their acceptance or rejection by a screening surface".
