John 2305 (2010) I have a 2010. Jd2305. I replaced the hydraulic fluid, filter and pulled the screen out, cleaned the magnets & screen. Reinstalled. Once I pulled the tractor out of the garage, right where I pulled the screen out lay two O-rings. They aren't the two that go on the cap that holds the screen in with the hose connector on it.

Be sure to replace retractor pins. They are known for going bad and causing brake drag. Also, with history of water in system it is likely the brake lining has swollen which will cause drag. If suction screen is clogged, that probably is your hydraulic problem. If it is clean, then I think you also have problem with hydraulic pump.
